Registration Instructions for SUTA Reunion Participation
July 13^th to 16^th 2012 in Ottawa, ON Canada

STEP 1: Ensure to have an Up-To-Date SUTA Membership

All participants in the upcoming SUTA Reunion in Ottawa, ON during July 13 to 16 2012, are required to be either a SUTA member in good standing or a SUTA member spouse or special guest. Those who are already a member of SUTA need to check their membership status before registration. If last annual payment to SUTA was made more than a year ago, the member needs to pay the membership fee and apply for renewal. Here is the fee structure for membership application or renewal:

From Outside Iran Regular $50.00 US

Student $20.00 US

From Inside Iran Regular 300,000 Rials

Student 150,000 Rials

There are two ways for renewal:

• PayPal - Those who can use PayPal, may send their payment according to the above table to info@suta.org,
• Direct Deposit - Those who may not use PayPal (i.e. from Iran), may pay their membership fee according to the above table to the following account: Bank Mellat

  Beneficiary Dr. Davar Boghaei After making the payments, please send an email with payment details to billing@suta.org. SUTA will verify the payment, update membership status and send the approval to your email.

(2-1) PAYMENT
Below is the fee structure for reunion registration:

Payment for the reunion registration can be made using either PayPal or direct deposit.

NOTE: If the applicant is applying on behalf of himself/herself and his/her spouse or special guest, the sum of fees may be sent using either of the methods described below:

Send an email to billing@suta.org, including the registration fee details (according to 2-1) and the applicant’s name and address along with details of applicant’s spouse (or special guest).

 

(2-3) Letter of Invitation:

Those applicants who require a visa to travel to Canada may request a letter of invitation from SUTA. Upon completion of the registration and payments, the applicant may inform SUTA about their requirement and a letter of invitation will be provided and sent to the applicant.

More Details about the Reunion

• The upcoming reunion is a joint event between SUTA and SUA (Shiraz University Association).
• Attendees, who need to apply for a visit visa to Canada, need to register as soon as possible, as the visa processing duration is very long and may take 4 months or more. These guests are strongly recommended to register no later than March 1^st, 2012 so that SUTA may issue the letter of invitation early in advance for the visit visa application with the Canadian Embassy,

Accommodation Choices

All attendees will be responsible for their own accommodation, bookings and all applicable fees. Below are a few hotels that SUTA may recommend for considerations. According to the arrangements made between SUTA and Delta Ottawa City Centre (i.e. reunion venue), attendees may receive special booking fees from the hotel during reunion (July 13 to 16 2012).
